Mosquito Biology

Mosquitoes spend most of their lives in the water during their immature stages before they metamorphosize into adult mosquitoes. They are much easier to control while they are in the water. By taking some of the simple steps listed below, you can reduce mosquito populations around your home.

Dump and drain

Remove debris from gutters that might prevent water flow

Stock mosquito fish in man-made ponds and green pools

Scrub and flush out bird baths every few days
